The Second Coming of Christ

The Son of Man will come at an hour when you do not expect Him. But the Apostle Paul gave us two markers to help us here. 2 Thes. 2:3 "Let no one deceive you in any way. For that day will not arrive until the falling away comes first,  and the man of sin, the Anti-Christ, is revealed, the son of destruction. 

What triggers the Great Falling Away is persecution that will scare the living daylights out of "Christians", and in sheer panic they'll deny Christ and will betray one another. Even those in the same family will betray their own husbands, Fathers, Mothers, brothers, and sisters in order to save their own skins. These are not true Christians who will do this, except for the true Christians who will fail, but come under conviction from the Lord and repent and be killed along with true Christians.

Famines, earthquakes, and wars will appear on a world-wide level. In order to hold on to control, governments will declare Martial Law to control everything. There goes the Constitution,  personal liberties, and freedoms we now take for granted.

Isa 50:10
“Who among you fears the Lord?
Who obeys the voice of His Servant?
Who walks in darkness
And has no light?
Let him trust in the name of the Lord
And rely upon his God.

Psalms 119:105
Your word is a lamp to my feet
And a light to my path.

We need to realize how much Jesus our Lord suffered for us on a level we can barely understand. We need to think about that, and meditate on it, and stay in God's holy Word.
