God's love trumps it all; it is so great

Now while God is busy molding us into the image of His dear Son, it will certainly not feel like God loves us. The devil knows we have a tendency to want to "feel" God's love all the time. So when we are in God's wood shed, we are not going to "feel" God's love at all. When we are in our potter's hand, we are not going to feel swell either. Job was a very great man. The devil threw everything at him, but he stayed faithful to God. Job is our pattern to stay faithful to God who loves us. And how did He demonstrate that love? Jesus died for our sins. For God so very loved the world, that He gave us His only beloved Son for our sins, that whosoever trusts and adheres to Him, has eternal life and shell not perish.

Who is the one who adheres to Jesus? The one who  is a filthy sinner and wants desperately to be changed and set free, so he adheres to Jesus. He yokes up with Jesus. He walks with Jesus. Daily in the Word, the Bible, daily praying, daily yielding. He knows he is too weak to make it on his own. He clings to Jesus. He knows that eternal life is in the Son.

Who are the ones who have token beliefs in Jesus and live their own lives, but don't walk with Jesus? Most "Christians". That is fatal because they actually think they are saved.

God is not  mocked. If we disregard His great love, after His patience has run out, and after they ignore his Servants He has sent to them, He lets them go into sin and they die and go to hell.
The Lord says, Choose life; why will you die?

God can prove His great love for us and we disregard it to our own peril. If only people could wake up they would fly to Jesus. May God squeeze them to at least call on
God.

Sin is the ruin of a family, a city, a nation, but especially a church.

There is only one way to overcome the power of sin, and that is to yield one's life absolutely to Jesus Christ. Then the Holy Spirit can work on you to deliver you from the lust of the flesh, AND THE WIDE PATH TO DESTRUCTION.

We must abide in Jesus. There is no other way to become fruitful in Jesus. We must walk with Jesus, yoked up with Him.

Carefully read 1 Peter 1:2
elect according to the foreknowledge of God the Father, in sanctification of the Spirit, for obedience and sprinkling of the blood of Jesus Christ:

Elect: Chosen of God.
Sanctification of the Holy Spirit: For obedience to Jesus Christ, and for the       sprinkling of His blood.

Apparently most of have never read this according to the way they live. They are on the wide path to destruction. At the judgement they will say, B,b but Lord I was taught once saved always saved. Jesus will say, Depart from Me you lawless one; I never knew you.

The true gospel: Repent, believe the Gospel, follow Jesus.

You have to acknowledge your sin before God, and then go to God in that guilty state. God will meet you and show you Jesus. Jesus forgives you. The Holy Spirit enters to sanctify you. This is a process, walking the Narrow Path. We yoke up with Jesus and walk together on the Narrow path. God desires to change us to be exactly like His Son. The process is filled with pain, joy, sadness, gladness, but always with the caring loving hands of God guiding our lives.

This is the mark of a true Christian: They walk with God. There are many ups and downs because we are in a warfare. The devil, the world and even our own flesh war against us. Jesus expects us to overcome. You have to overcome to get to heaven.

You cannot do this in your own strength, but you learn to do this by the Spirit of the Lord, as He works on you, sanctifying you,  making you holy.

Now without holiness/sanctification no one will see the Lord. By the grace of God we overcome, daily.  Only those who endure in faith until the end will be saved.

That is why we yield our lives, lock, stock and barrel, to Jesus. Without Him none of this is possible. Only by Jesus can our evil hearts be changed.

Repent of not reading the Bible, the very words of God. Do not be deceived. Feed on God's word. Youtube is not God's word. Facebook is not God's word. Stuff from Man is not God's word. Do you know how to discern a false prophet?

If a dream or a vision or a voice is not from God, then the dream, vision and voice is false. If God did not send that prophet, that Prophet is false.
If on Youtube some person reports their dreams, visions and voices, The question is DID GOD SEND THEM?

Make sure you are truly saved

Since the beginning of the Gospel of Jesus Christ, men have distorted the Grace of God to make it mean freedom to sin. They say Christ died for our sins: past, present and future, and that means God cannot judge us for the sins He already judged in Christ. So if we sin, it is already covered. Once you are saved, you are always saved no matter how sinfully  you live.

Some try to assert that there is no free will. They do that so they can pretend they have no responsibility toward God. God does it all. We are "scott free".

Others like this definition of Repentance: A change of mind. They like that because they don't have to repent. Change of mind without change of heart without change of direction is no repentance at all.

Repentance is revealed in the Old Testament. Repentance meant to turn  from sin and turn to God.

The Commands of God prove we have free will, and forces us to choose to obey God, or to disobey Him.

God gave Adam a command: Don't eat the fruit of the tree of good and evil, or you will die the death. Adam ate in total disobedience. The choice he made was fatal, just like God warned him. Just like God warns us.

Repent and repentance is stated about 47 times in the New Testament.

Jesus said, Unless you repent, you will also perish. He said, Repent and believe the Gospel.

Repent means to see  your own sin and to turn away from it to Christ to forgive, save, and deliver  you from the power of it. You yoke up with Jesus forever. You yield to His Lordship. Because only in Him can we overcome the sin that so easily entraps us. Jesus can free us from sexual immorality, from drugs, from hatred, from unforgiveness, from vaunting ourselves, from lusting after riches and everything to do with the Lust of this world.

Show me one scripture that says it is OK to keep sinning after coming to Christ, and I will show  you the entire Bible that says you are dead wrong.

Gal 5: 19-21
19 Now the works of the flesh are evident, which are: adultery, fornication, uncleanness, lewdness, 20 idolatry, sorcery, hatred, contentions, jealousies, outbursts of wrath, selfish ambitions, dissensions, heresies, 21 envy, murders,[d] drunkenness, revelries, and the like; of which I tell you beforehand, just as I also told you in time past, that those who practice such things will not inherit the kingdom of God.

Walk with Jesus on the Narrow Path. These are the true children of God who walk in the Spirit. This is eternal life, to know You, the Only true God and Jesus Christ whom You sent.

Eternal Security is IN Jesus Christ

The Bible has no scripture supporting future sins not yet committed, as being forgiven already. It goes under the mantra of Once Saved; Always Saved.

When I was a  young man, this issue of whether I could lose my salvation caused me much consternation. Both sides had their favorite scriptures to support their side. I was never convinced in my heart by either argument. My heart still was in turmoil. What it all boiled down to was I had to know the answer from God Himself.

So one day when I could not stand it any longer, I called out to God at the top of my lungs. I said, God, I need to know the truth, the real truth. I prayed with all my might. I told the Lord if I could lose my salvation, and that was the truth, then that is what I want to hear. But I then said, if that were true, then there would be no more hope.

I  had prayed with all my force. Afterward, I was spent and just sat there.

Suddenly, God dropped two scriptures into my mind. Blink, blink.

First,

For the Lord will not cast off his people, neither will he forsake his inheritance.

Then,

For if we would judge ourselves, we should not be judged.  But when we are judged, we are chastened of the Lord, that we should not be condemned with the world.

I knew these were in the Bible but I had no idea where. So I got my concordance out and found them:

Psalm 94:14
1 Cor. 11:31,32
After that I had peace in my heart; the turmoil was over. His faithfulness was in cement. I rested in that. There is a Psalm I pray a lot: Lord, search me, and know me, and see if there is any wicked way in me; and lead me in the way everlasting.  The Holy Spirit within gives me desires to please the Lord. And I examine myself daily by the grace of God and by the liberty of the Holy Spirit and by the light of the holy scriptures.
