Deception in these, the last days.

As the Church Age comes ingloriously to its end, and the things that happen afterwards come to the stage, deception will be overwhelming. The deception will be clothed with righteousness, cleverly hidden. People will give glowing testimonies of visiting God, Jesus, and Heaven. Why should we not believe this is from God? We scour the youtube entry and find no obvious error in it. Seems true.

But the Sugar and Spice message itself is wrong. Repentance and Fearing God is what the Holy Scriptures shout to us in this very time in America.

On YouTube there are so many who claim they get words from God almost daily. Really??? God's holy written Word speaks to my heart daily and I learn Truth. I am saved by Grace and given the Holy Spirit to walk the narrow path yoked up with Jesus, obeying Him by faith.

Never forget that Satan himself appears as an angel of light, and only as we abide in Jesus can we be safe.

Never forget that the skilled deceivers lead you with something true at first. Then they add a slightly questionable and debatable nugget and stretch scripture to support it, and from there they skillfully lead  you away from Christ.

One couple with daughter escaped a house fire with their lives. House was totaled. Wife told me, We believe in Jesus, but  husband attempted to get me into Buddhism. I  told him that Buddhism is of Satan. He said, No, but I did not budge. God spared their lives. They need the real Jesus.

We all have doctrinal biases from small to great. We need to ask God to deliver us from the false.

Antinomian heresy teaches us to ignore all the scriptures that teach persecution and suffering. We can read the whole Bible and somehow skip and run by many scriptures that  teach we must face persecution. It is part of our fallen nature, and we all have this hidden liability until the Lord makes us aware of it, if we have spiritual ears and eyes.

Let  us look at one section of scripture that we normally skip as not pertaining to us.

Rev. 6:9-11
And when he had opened the fifth seal, I saw under the altar the souls of them that were slain for the word of God, and for the testimony which they held: 10 and they cried with a loud voice, saying, How long, O Lord, holy and true, dost thou not judge and avenge our blood on them that dwell on the earth? 11 And white robes were given unto every one of them; and it was said unto them, that they should rest yet for a little season, until their fellowservants also and their brethren, that should be killed as they were, should be fulfilled.

Verse 11 shows being slain for being a Christ follower has not finished  yet. It is still in our future. Those who see the truth will not be taken by surprise. Those trusting falsehood run the real risk of abandoning Christ altogether, saying, I never signed up for this.

Oh yeah! The Lord warns us that only those who endure to the end will be saved.

False Teachers, Preachers and self proclaimed prophets

These false teachers take advantage of Christians who hardly know their Bibles. They teach plausible outcomes of Biblical thought, just a tad off.

Genesis 1:2 -- And the earth was without form, and void; and darkness was upon the face of the deep. And the Spirit of God moved upon the face of the waters.

False teachers change the word, WAS, to BECAME in order to teach a pre-Adamic world.

You are supposed to use scripture to prove scripture, but these guys justify their conclusions because they teach their lies, ever so subtly. There are no scriptures that teach a pre-Adamic world. End of story. Yes there are many questions that arise out of Genesis, but God has remained silent about that. Where He is silent, we cannot logically speculate.

Here is another false thought that keeps popping up now and again. When Jesus was tempted in all points as a man, teachers say the temptations were real and genuine and He could have sinned, but did not.

The truth is that it was impossible for Jesus to sin because as a Man, Jesus never diverted from His Obedience to the Father, despite all of Satan's machinations. If we could know the depth and height of Jesus's sufferings while on earth, and His unflinching obedience to the Father which was tested to the maximum, we would then know what is expected of us in the testings of our own faith, and take this much more seriously than we do, because we are weak and can only overcome by Him, who never failed.
