The difference between the Greek Manuscripts is so slight, and no cardinal doctrine is missing in any of the versions. Understand that no English Bible is exactly, exactly 100 % correct, but accurate enough, and so much so, that God holds us accountable to read it. Just like God held His children accountable to read the Septuagint when Greek was the current world language, and the Septuagint was the Word of God. Then the Latin version became the Bible of choice. I also read the Bible in Spanish. I might say what is extremely important is that the Holy Spirit be the teacher. Just ask the Lord to teach you the Bible and He will. I love it when God teaches me His Word.
Now I have been on a long journey to find an English version that I can have confidence in. When I first came to Jesus, my Bible was the KJV back in 1966. Since then, through a plethora of versions, I have come a long ways in understanding which Bible should be my main English Bible. I am greatly interested in the manuscripts from which our English Bibles come from, and wanted to find a Bible version accurate to the original languages.
Alas I am still looking. Several times I thought I found it, but nope. Not even some interlinear's.
I think I have found the best Bible: The World English Bible.
